Bioshock: Infinite announced

Bioshock Infinite announced
Bioshock: Infinite has been announced and now fans are questioning as why Ken Levine, the creator of series, had skipped on BioShock 2.

The answer was very simple for Levine. He said that he “felt like we said what we wanted to say about Rapture.”

He also added further, “That’s one of the reasons Bioshock 2 wasn’t the right project for us and, as we agreed with the company, we didn’t have the timeframe or the scale to make the product of the ambition we had.”

Levine appreciated 2K Martin, the maker of BioShock 2. He said, “I think [2K Marin is] a very talented team,” he told Eurogamer, “and I think it fulfilled the mission of completing the story of Rapture.”

So, all the fans of BioShock series! Excitement begins? For Levine’s Bioshock: Infinite? Bring on the Big Daddies.

Storyline is important in games to thrive

bioshock-2If there is one reason to say why first person shooting games has been faded out for few gamers, the answer is the lack of gripping story in the games.

Let us be thankful to the BioShock 2 of 2K. It keeps the gamers in enthusiasm in what happens next while playing.

BoiShock 2’s story picks up several years after the original BilShock went off. It is not a sequel, but another tale from the same nightmarish envieronment.

There is underwater utopian empire called Rapture, Big Daddy is there known as Subject Delta which is separated from the little sister to whom he had once protected.

More to this, the music and environment of the game is done in such a way that makes one feel historical and nostalgic.

The role of playing element of the game is also enjoyable.

Players report problems with Rapture Metro Pack

2K Games recently released second set of downloadable content, the “Rapture Metro Pack.” This content fleshes out the multiplayer mode of BioShock 2. It contains 6 new maps and also a new achievements/trophies.
Players report problems with Rapture Metro Pack
While finding out inputs to write review, I discovered that it seems there’s a catch to the Metro.

Let’s hear what 2K Games said. It said that if a fan wants to play this map in a public match, then a lobby full of players is required who have also purchased the content.

In the group if anyone does not have the new map content then the game will automatically put the gamer into a game using previously released and nothing from the new one.

In an official statement the Community Manager of 2K said, “We couldn’t assume that all users would purchase the maps, so we made a design decision to unify the user base in order to provide the best gameplay experience possible. The DLC maps will cycle into the rotation if everyone in the room owns them, otherwise the game will load the base maps. If users want a more direct control over their experience they can create private matches which they can set to play just the DLC maps.”

Write here if you have purchased the new content and are facing similar problems.

The official 2K Forum message board is flooded with messages of fans bringing to notice that the download was only 24K in size on the PC and on Xbox 360 it was 108K. The fans says further that the content was already finished and it was stored on the disc of the game.

Elizabeth, the community manager of the forum commented that the download was already on the disc. He claimed that this was just to make sure that there was no split in the userbase in the multiplayer mode of the game.

However, there has been no formal comment yet from Elizabeth. He said further, “I know some of you have strong beliefs about DLC, and I’m not here to sway your opinion or convince you to buy our stuff – if you like what we’re offering, I hope you get it and enjoy it. If it’s not your speed, enjoy BioShock 2 as we released it.”
