BioShock 2 DLC fixes hacking mini-game for colour blind
The Minerva Den and Protector Trail of BioShock 2 adds in stripes to the hacking mini-game which will help the colour-blind gamers.
The game was content-less so a title update of it couldn’t fix it said a developer as it was not for DLC fault but a “technical constraint”.
The developer just added stripes to the red wires. “It was in fact “secretly” fixed,” said Steve G, a designer at 2K Marin. “The reason it’s not publicized is that buying the DLC (Protector Trials or the upcoming Minerva’s Den) is required to get the fixed hacking.”
There were impossibility for some to tell the difference between green and red wires for the hacking mini-game.
“This is due to a technical constraint meaning that we couldn’t put the fix in a free title update (we would’ve had to re-distribute all of the levels, basically, because of how our data structure is set up, and I don’t think that title updates can contain content at all, only code.)”
“But, we figured better to fix it for some people than no one, so there you have it.”

Designs and visuals of Bioshock 2
It is seen that Bioshock 2 is more linear than the original Bioshock. In the original, gamers can travel back and forth in the first to pick up missed items. In Bioshock 2 gamers cannot travel back once they had proceeded to the next level. Well, this is not a big issue because the game streamlines the player towards the next objective, hence gamers don’t have to wander around.

The biggest design improvement of Bioshock 2 over the original is the hacking mini-game. Gamers will no more be relegated to the frustrating timed pipe game. In real-time all the hacking games will take place and will also depend on the gamers reflexes more. While hacking players can die because the enemies will be still able to fire back.
Not only this. There is something more at stake. If gamers fail to their needle on either the blue or the green area then it will lead to alerting the bots or if not, then an electrical shock. Blue area landing is the hardest. It will open up a perk like more money.
It is also seen that the hacking opportunities have become more strategic because developers have incorporated a remote hacker with it, which can be shot from a gun. This remote hacker also allows gamers to hack any device and from anywhere on the map. The best way to use this is to strategically attack a group of enemies. Gamers can hack a flying bot and then turn it against the group even being far away.
