BioShock 2 tops the February chart in US
BioShock 2 top the sales chart in United States in the month of February according to NPD Group sales numbers. The game managed to sale 562,900 units to the players who were eager for a return trip to Rapture and its Plasmid-based combat.

BioShock 2 was also a big hit of 2009 fall.
The New Super Mario Bros. for the Wii was in the second place with slightly more than 555,000 units sold and the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 from the house of Infinity Ward and Activision was in third position selling 314,000 units on the Xbox 360.
Rhythm sensation Just Dance from Ubisoft is in the fourth place with 275,400 sales units and the Wii Sports Resort is in the 5th place. Modern Warfare 2 PS3 version took the sixth place.
Anita Frazier, the analyst of NPD Group, said: “Honestly, I had expected the industry to perform somewhat better this month. Nonetheless, strong new releases and Easter gift-buying bode well for industry performance in March.”
She added that the overall videogame sales has been slipped by 15% compared to the same period of 2009. Then the Wii Fit and Street Fighter IV was on top.
