Viral marketing continues for BioShock 2
A month after BioShock 2 is going to be released. Before this the special deliveries from the BioShock 2 viral website are continuing. It is at the people’s doors. Now the packages contain a chess piece and along with it also a coded telegram from the “International Order of the Pawns.”

According to a reader named J.P., in the month of September he wrote to the address that one finds on the site and not cleverly playing along with the premise of viral marketing narrative.
Today, J.P. and also apparently some others like him, from looking at the forums of BioShock 2 – got one more special delivery. It is a black pawn piece that had a symbol marked on the outside and on its base was written “H1″.
It is noted that J.P.’s is preceded with the letter “I.” Also there seems to be 5 more other codes that were marked with roman numerals.

BioShock 2’s real-life viral marketing
BioShock 2’s new marketing policy is the viral marketing campaign. It gives a hope that it the new game going to be released in February next year will be something more than just BioShock with Big Sisters.
The 2k Games forums members have started receiving real-life letters at homes. Two deliveries have been confirmed. The first one is a telegram that has been delivered by a Speedy Brothers Telegram courier. Below is what the telegram contained:
“ISIDORE VOUCHES THAT YOU ARE TRUSTWORTHY BE ON LOOK-OUT FOR A PACKAGE FURTHER EXPLANATION FORTHCOMING YOUR HELP URGENTLY NEEDED”
The senders name is Mark G. Meltzer. If we explore on somethinginthesea.com then we can find that Meltzer is an important figure in BioShock 2. The second one was a real treat and it was a much longer letter. It reads:
Dear Friend,
Phil Isidore (of N.U.F.O.S.) has vouched that you are a trustworthy individual. Please- closely guard the contents of this package. I have sent it direct via courier out of concern that gov’t personnel or unknown individuals may attempt to intercept it.
As you may know, I have been investigating anomalous phenomena related to the disappearance of my daughter. In the past, you’ve provided information that has helped my research. Now I need your input on a matter of utmost urgency.
I discovered the enclosed item in a basement workshop owned by Orrin Oscar Lutwidge. I’m desperately trying to uncover more regarding its origin, manufacture, etc. Please examine and let me know what you make of it.
Any information could help me find my daughter.
Thanks, Mark Meltzer.
